Take us through a typical day: Each day I add all the new referrals to the system that have arrived in the post/via email. I take telephone queries from clients wanting advice, book appointments in the diary, print and send out appointment letters and welcome visitors and clients in to the building. I also upload information from our paper files onto our electronic system. Sometimes, when the photocopier is playing up, it feels like a lot of my day is spent dealing with paper jams!

What do you like most about the job? Our great family atmosphere, team members, meeting new people, learning new things every day!

Why did you want to do this job? I wanted a new challenge with a small family company.

What qualifications or experience do you need? Attention to detail, customer service skills, patience and the ability to multi-task.

What do you like doing in your spare time? Reading, spending time with the cats, eating, socialising, visiting friends around the country.

Any advice for your childhood self? Focus on what you like to do and what you’re good at! Don’t be so bothered about other people’s expectations.

Most annoying habit: Correcting people’s English and biting my nails.

Favourite happy place in Cumbria: Anywhere in the countryside when it’s sunny!

Where in the world would you most like to visit? Everywhere!

Biggest achievement to date? Completing a half marathon after only running for 1 year!
