Company History
In 2006, a group of 76 GPs in Cumbria formed CueDoc Holdings Ltd which ran alongside the out of hours GP service.
Our Managing Director Sandra Holliday, then a Training Manager, was given the task of researching and developing an occupational health business focussed on the requirements of SMEs. The business secured its first client in June 2008 and launched officially on 25 September 2008. In 2011 it was sold to the management team who were working with over 120 clients at the time.
Still known as CueDoc, the public were still confusing the business with the out of hours GP service event though this service had changed its name to CHOC (Cumbria Health on Call) so Sandra made the decision to rebrand. Choose Occupational Health was launched in November 2016.
We now have over 500 clients, including some of Cumbria’s largest organisations. With our hardworking team including occupational health and well-being specialists and HR professionals, we continue to provide the best service for our growing client base.
