Most of my career has involved working with children in a number of roles, but I have always had an interest in the health and wellbeing of others. When I was given the opportunity to work alongside a team of Occupational Health professionals as a Technician for Choose Occupational Health, this felt like the perfect time for a career change.
Being part of a friendly, approachable and very supportive team with lots of clinical support means I am constantly learning. Even though the main part of my job means I am frequently working alone, having regular catchups with colleagues, group chats and taking part in activities outside of work means I always feel part of the team. Meeting new people every day and helping them when need be gives me a great deal of job satisfaction.
